How clients opt in to Chairside texts

Chairside is a booking service for barbers, run by Chairside Booking LLC. This page is public and needs no login. It shows how a client agrees to get text messages from Chairside, with the exact wording. The program is called Chairside appointment alerts.

Agreeing to texts is optional. You can book, or create an account, without agreeing to texts. You don't need to agree to book.

What we send

  • Appointment texts: booking confirmations, reminders, changes and cancellations.

Every text identifies Chairside as the sender. Texts are transactional only. We never send marketing or promotional texts.

How clients opt in (on the website)

Clients book on their barber's booking page at chairsidebooking.com. There are four steps, and the text box in step 3 is optional:

  1. Pick a service.
  2. Pick a time.
  3. Enter your details: name and mobile number (as a guest, when creating an account to book, or when logging in to book).
  4. Optional: check the text-message box if you want appointment texts. You can leave it unchecked. Then continue to review and book.

The box is optional, separate from the terms, and never pre-checked. You can book without agreeing to texts: if the box is left unchecked, the form works the same and the booking goes through. We send texts only to numbers that have agreed. (If you are already signed in on the website the box isn't shown again.)

To see the live form without making a booking, open the sample booking form (step 3). It uses sample data and sends nothing.

We send no texts to a number that hasn't agreed. We record when and how consent was given.

Frequency, rates and keywords

  • Message frequency varies with your appointments. Usually 2 to 3 texts per booking: a confirmation, a reminder, and a change or cancellation only if one happens.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help. Reply START to opt back in.

What we reply:

  • HELP: "Chairside appointment alerts. Help: support@chairsidebooking.com or (702) 861-1735. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out."
  • STOP: "Chairside: You're unsubscribed and will get no more texts. Reply START to resubscribe."

Your privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We never sell your mobile number.
